Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of VAVEL Images (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by them.

1. The Service

VAVEL Images is a sports photography library where accredited photographers publish their work and users can browse, search, and — where enabled — embed or license images.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Accounts that provide false information or are used to infringe these Terms may be suspended or terminated.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Service (images, texts, trademarks and design) belongs to VAVEL and/or its licensors and photographers. No rights are granted beyond those expressly set out in the Content License.

4. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, bulk-download or index the content by automated means without permission.
Do not interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
Do not use the Service to upload or distribute unlawful content or content you do not own.

5. Photographers' content

Photographers keep the ownership of the images they upload and grant VAVEL the rights needed to host, display, promote and license them through the Service.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, VAVEL is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the Service or from third-party uses of embedded content.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Madrid, Spain, unless mandatory consumer rules provide otherwise.
